IFR Re-Certification

Every two years your aircraft needs to be re-certified to fly IFR. Even if you do not fly IFR and even if you're not rated to fly in IFR conditions, if your aircraft is set up to fly IFR then you must have both 91.411 and 91.413 inspections complied with.

Insurance companies look for any reason not to pay a claim. If your aircraft is rated to fly IFR and you only comply with VFR inspections and something should happen while you're taking off, flying or landing, then insurance companies have and will use the excuse that you did not comply with these inspections to not pay your claim, even if the incident had nothing to do with weather.

We can have your aircraft re-certified  for both 91.411 and 91.413 (transponder, encoder & pitot static) with as little as a one day (24 hour) notice for an appointment.
