Even though we generally do not perform engine overhauls. We can and will. We overhaul an aircraft engine by sending all the components out to be inspected and yellow tagged. We replace all seals, pistons, bearings Etc. just as the engine manufacturer would do.
We provide the services to remove your engine send it to either the overhaul shop of your choice or offer a few local overhaul shops where we get special rates, whatever discount we get, we pass right on to you. When the engine comes back from overhaul we install it, set it up and away you go. Call us for information about engine overhaul or just removing and re-installing an overhauled engine. Our chief mechanic worked for Mooney Airplane Co. and set up all the engines on the Mooney's, so rest assured your engine will be in expert hands. It is not uncommon for us to see engines at annuals that were never correctly set up after they were installed from the previous overhaul and in some cases even from the factory. It is important that your engine have the proper idle and mixture settings. Come see us and you will be flying with a smoother, better running engine.
